Kenneth Branagh et "La Flûte enchantée"

Adapting Mozart’s The Magic Flute to the screen after Ingmar Bergman is certainly one of the most daunting challenges that Kenneth Branagh, the imaginative screen adapter of Shakespeare, ever took on. This spectacular version, transposed to the trenches of World War I, was filmed at the legendary Shepperton Studios outside London. Passionate, generous and particularly accessible, Branagh allowed the crew of this documentary to follow the production of the film, from first day to last, from the first rehearsals to the premiere at La Fenice, in Venice.
