An adaptation of an autobiography. The story of a passion, the story of a struggle for survival. Julie, a woman in her early 40s, lives alone with her six-year-old son and is totally absorbed by her job. One day, during a professional visit, she meets Claude, who is married and has two children. Within weeks, they are involved in a passionate affair. Both leave everything behind to live together - far from Paris, a new life for two, a new house, a new start. But barely two months after moving into their new home, a dreadful accident leaves Claude in a deep coma, and their relationship in a void. Claude’s ex-wife, who wants him back, uses the situation to erase Julie’s very existence. It’s the beginning of a painful combat against death and oblivion. Step by step, it is a fight to return to life, to try to pick up the thread of their life, rebuild and, maybe, one day be together again. After the fight for life comes the fight for existence.
