Carole, a young pregnant woman, suffers from strange hearing problems, hearing sporadic buzzing noises that make her giddy. While her husband is away filming, she finds herself alone in her new flat. At night, she hears strange unexplained noises that will first intrigue her, and very quickly obsess her. From then on, her life lurches into anguish.
