De terre, de ciel, de Rimbaud...
A man walks along the roads of the Ardennes Mountains. All he carries on him are his pencils, a sketchbook and the poems of Arthur Rimbaud. Amid his wanderings and discoveries, far from the intermingled sounds of war and trade, he conducts an inquiry for the sake of his painting and soul. In the footsteps of Rimbaud, poet and rebel, the man walks and wonders: "We prefer the battlefield to the harvest field. Instead of thought, creativity and beauty, force and the confusion and misfortune it brings always win in the end… No painting, no poem, no work of art has ever prevented war. We have made war our major art form. So what good is a poet or a painter? Why do we need artists?
