A series of 5 short films investigating the ways in which inhabitants of 5 towns across Europe deal with a recent local criminal case that has somehow captured the public imagination. Concerned less with the "truth" of the cases, the films focus on how people try to retell the stories of what happened in an attempt to understand who they are and with whom they live. Berlin, Germany. Bus Stop, February 7th, 2005. A 23-year-old woman is shot three times in the head by her youngest brother.
