The film is set in the private world of a man who was born in the Gers 60 years ago. As a little boy, he had decided that he would some day be a painter. A painter or nothing at all. “I dreamed of being damned, like Van Gogh, but recognized… in other words, alive.” 50 years later, this little boy has become one of the great painters of his generation. He never lost sight of his dream and continues to struggle day after day, constantly searching. But searching for what?
