Bertrand Cervera, confidences d'un violonisteBertrand Cervera: a Violinist's Diary
Bertrand Cervera, 38, comes from Corsican stock. A soloist at the Orchestre National de France, he has just been accepted in the prestigious World Orchestra for Peace. In October 2005 that virtuoso for the first time conducted a unique creation: the opera Le Nègre des Lumières, by the Chevalier de Saint-Georges. He works also with popular artists such as Michel Jonasz or Benjamin Biolay, and has always been particularly keen on Corsican traditional music. We follow him in London, Moscow and Beijing, stages of the tour of the World Orchestra for Peace, in Paris and in Corsica, during the festival "Sorru in Musica" and in the village of Rennu, the original home of Bertrand's family.
