A couple disappears in the Balbemendi nature reserve in mysterious circumstances. A few days later, their child reappears, but has no memory of what happened. Ane, a young doctor, takes an interest in the affair, which is strikingly similar to the disappearance of her own sister in similar circumstances in the same area, 10 years ago.
