Antarctica by Touch

This film unveils the scientific, cultural and historical significance of Antarctica -the enigmatic sixth continent of planet Earth, full of mysteries and secrets. Changes in the climate, hurricanes, endangered ecosystem emphasize the importance of Antarctica's resources. This is the tale of the conquest of the glacial continent by the Russian pole explorers. The film crew worked in extreme conditions so that the audience could view and feel the magic of this last untouched wilderness. Antarctica by Touch is a unique project dedicated to the centenary presence of the Russians on the remote continent which still resembles an unexplored planet.
