11 septembre 2001 - Le Dossier d'accusationSeptember 11th 2001 - The Charges
On August 15, 2002, more than 6,500 relatives of victims of the 9/11 attacks filed a 15-count, $1 trillion lawsuit in a Washington, D.C. court: "The plaintiffs invoke the rule of law to hold those who promoted, financed, sponsored, or otherwise materially supported the acts of barbarism and terror inflicted on September 11, 2001, accountable for their deeds." The 259-page document singled out prominent members of the Saudi royal family, the Sudanese government, seven international banks, several charities, Islamic religious leaders, businessmen and Osama Ben Laden himself. This documentary deals with the civil action. The lawyers, families of victims, Saudi and Sudanese accused, specialists in Islamic terrorism, as well as American political figures and former U.S. secret servicemen and others who played a role in the story share their points of view with us.
