Vivre à TazmamartLiving in Tazmamart
58 men “disappeared” from 1973 to 1991, and were detained in horrendous conditions at the Tazmamart desert prison, on the demand of King Hassan II of Morocco. 28 of them survived and were released, thanks to international pressure. Instead of showing Tazmamart, Davy Zylberfajn chose a sun drenched location to interview five of the survivors. The alternation between these testimonies and the landscapes, lets the audience imagine the memories these men are reliving.
