Violence conjugale, le courage de dire
One of every ten woman is a victim of domestic violence. Every month, six women die as a result. Terrified, the victims often remain silent. Shot in the Hérault region, this film follows the work of social workers, police and psychologists. Florence is a social worker in a police station. Aline is a psychologist with the CIDF (Information Center for the Rights of Women and the Family). Both accompany women who want to file a complaint as well as those who don’t dare to. The statements of women who had the courage to testify runs through this film: they attest to the importance of the work done by Florence and Aline, encouraging other woman to speak out and share their experiences.
