A young couple is torn between hope, doubt, faith and cure by praying. Dorien is pregnant of a child who has serious deformities. Her pregnancy is not viable. In desperation, she and her husband call in healers who will engage a fight against the devil. The child to be born will be declared in good health and will be cured, in spite of the medical diagnosis, provided that the mother has enough faith, for Satan benefits from irreligiousness. Dorien is convinced of the efficiency of the miracle: she decides to ignore the opinion of the gynaecologists and gets prepared for the birth of a son in good health. She agrees that her story is filmed to show what she has been through. But events will not go as she had expected...
