Une mère russe

The fictious, non-chronological story of a mother-son relationship over a period of 50 years. When his mother dies, the son reconstructs the life of this woman in time and space. Mitrani commented: “Real moments of true life, imagined life, imaginary situations haunt the son and form a phantasmagoria that becomes the great myth of all births and all life.” Behind this exceptional life is the history of the generations that made the 20th century.
