Un siècle à nous deux
A former resistance fighter, Marcel Fauvel, was deported during the war, first to Buchenwald, then to Langenstein. He now shares his memories to Victor, a youth of 14, during a journey to Buchenwald. At Buchenwald, Marcel relates: the assembly ground, the block, the crematorium, all the organizational details. They leave Buchenwald for Langenstein. There they retrace together the daily itinerary of detainees and Marcel shows Victor the place where the death march began. Back in France, they go to the Caen Memorial. The former resistance fighter tells his young companion what he expects of the new generation, all the while saying how difficult it is to pass on these experiences.
