A village in Georgia, deep in the Caucasus. In this haven of peace where a famous spring water flows throughout the region, they are laying a gigantic Western pipeline, “a fire-breathing dragon,” in return for compensation in dollars. Insidiously, the psychosis spreads to the inhabitants: is the pipeline a monster that will in the end destroy the beauty of the valley, or a beneficial savior that will bring prosperity to the region?
