At the crossroads of Black Africa and North Africa is the colorful city of Agadez, the meeting point of modernity and tradition. The film follows some youths as they try to prepare for their driver’s license. We accompany these students of different backgrounds during this apprenticeship and watch how they live in various environments: private, school, public. The license represents a real stake for candidates, not only because it represents a career choice but also because it allows them to help their families. There are several phases: not only the exam stage, but also the pre-enrollment phase, especially the search for funding.
