S.A.C. - Des hommes dans l'ombre
July 19, 1981. Jacques Massié, head of the SAC, the parallel police force of the Bouches-du-Rhône, and his family are murdered in their house in Auriol. near Marseilles. At the same moment, police chief Paul Routier is spending a weekend in Normandy with his daughter Françoise and his grandson. As usual the underlying tensions between father and daughter explode over minor things. But the quarrel is cut short by a phone call. Routier rushes back to Paris. A few days later, his body is found with a bullet in his head and a gun in his hand. Circumstances surrounding his death lead Françoise to suspect that it wasn’t suicide. Seeking to reconstitute her father’s final hours, she unearths an entire past full of shadow zones.
