For the Roma, western Europe represents their last chance to obtain recognition and dignity. Many come and go between Romania and France, using the three-month “tourist” visa authorized under the Schengen Treaty. The migratory waves are increasing. The unsafe camps are multiplying in the Paris region and relations with neighbouring communities are creating problems. In addition to these questions, this documentary deals with the Roma and their history through interviews and scenes from camp life.
