Out of respect for the paintings of his father, Jean Renoir couldn’t foresee being a painter and the cinema was still in the future. This adventure and what it owes to the father, Renoir here turns into a tale for which he provides the voice as well as the images, through scenes from his films that find an echo in the paintings of his father.
