Régis Jauffret, écrivain ou l'Ange du bizarre
Régis Jauffret tells stories that are “snags”, “weird accidents” – his books are battlegrounds. In this film, there is no metaphor of the writer at his writing table. Jauffret plunges wide awake into his writer’s dream. There he meets Amandine and speaks to her. In his course or in his dreams, he is haunted by an image and a voice from the past. Together, we examine his stories. The film L’Ange du Bizarre is followed by a more conventional interview during which Jauffret talks about one of his terrible heroines, Clémence Picot, and his relationship with the character and the book.
