Quiero vivir
This documentary is located at El Alto, above La Paz, the capital of Bolivia. We follow up the daily routine of Indians teenagers, shoe shiners, amongst other jobs, who are at the same time taking up studies they are financing partly themselves. The movie is focused on 5 teenagers: a girl and four boys whose strength of life, in spite of their difficult background, is astonishing. They give also an insight into the Bolivian situation which actually knows tragic events linked to the globalization and to the segregation of the Indian population. The problematics encountered by these five teenagers are strangely close to us and it is also an opportunity to discover a badly known country.
