Poverty's Paradise

Thousands of men live in the greater Paris region, in immigrant workers residences. Men in search of paradise. Men of courage far from home, from family. Men in suspension waiting to become men again on their land. Immigrant workers or workers in forced exile, they all live together, their daily lives are identical. Here are three of these men. Poverty’s Paradise is a film that shows up a paradox. How do you take hold of a paradise that doesn’t exist? How can you live while giving up your dreams, when the word “hope” is forgotten with time?
