Pagnol & Compagnie
He was anything but a loner, there was nothing about the angry writer about him, holed up in an ivory tower. Marcel Pagnol never stopped declaring that he belonged to the most diverse groups: to his family, his friends, his colleagues, his company of actors and technicians. He was a dabbler of genius, a simple yet complicated man. This is why, covered in glory as he is, he remains a stranger. In fact, he admitted he didn’t know himself. To answer this question, this film calls on the characters he dreamed up, who continue to haunt a very odd intimate theater.
