Pablo O'HigginsPablo O'Higgins
Born in Salt Lake City in 1904, Pablo O'Higgins came to Mexico in 1924 and decided to stay here and create all of his works based on the inspiration that he received from the Mexican people. Along the film, some of his works are shown and commented on, such as Voz de un pueblo en lucha mural, which is at the Abelardo L. Rodriguez market, Boda indigena and Paisaje tarahumara murals, among others. O'Higgins meant to represent workers, laborers and peasants in their everyday lives, he also painted about the social changes and the transition from rural to urban. Given his political commitment to Communist ideals he meant, through graphics, to represent the events and social problems in Mexico and the rest of the world.
