Pablo: Lifes of a Poet
A journey into the memories of a great poet, one of the greatest of all time: Pablo Neruda. Neither fiction, nor documentary in the strict sense of the term, this film cinematically explores the poetry of the famous Chilean, its structure and secrets. Chileans introduce us to natural locations of breathtaking beauty where they recite poems by Neruda, pure and sublime. Simple people, encountered by chance, embody friends and family of the poet and the different stages of his life: the three sons of a waiter interpret Pablo’s childhood and evoke his first experiences; an itinerant peddler becomes the poet Gabriela Mistral and a cemetery caretaker the father of Pablo Neruda.
