Portrait of a group of Mexican indigenous and mestizo homosexual men in the town of Juchitán, on the isthmus of Tehuantepec, Oaxaca, in southern Mexico, who vigourously defend their rights through transgressions, their ethnic identity as Zapotec Indians and the pleasure of living their lives intensely. Over the past three decades, the "Muxe's" have constituted a community that enjoys sensuality, has fun and laughs at itself, but also dares to face the rejection of family members and puritan society.
