Level-8
Inspired by an Indian mural in Santa-Fé, Level-8 is an eclectic road movie about some of the basic themes of "modern civilization": utopia, consciousness, spirits, parallel universes, war, storytelling and narrative itself. The ambiguity of the human condition is discussed in five interviews as we explore the dark frontiers of the myth of the American West and watch a state of mind silently implode in October 2001. Featuring: Peter Smith (NASA engineer), James and Mae Peshlakai (Navajo Medicine man and Navajo Heritage), Kenneth Laffoon (World War II hero), Stuart Hameroff (anesthetist), and the crew of a Titan Nuclear Missile Silo.
