For the past five generations, an unusual legacy has been passed on in the Casadesus family: devotion to art. Among the Casadesus—apart from Frédérik the historian, the exception that confirms the rule—everyone is inevitably a painter, a musician, an actor or a visual artist. It all began with the patriarch, a Catalan accountant, who loved music so much that he insisted that each of his nine children play an instrument. Since then, all the members of this family are bound not only by blood ties but also by the desire to guarantee the continuity of their artistic standing. The film deals with the part of the family legacy that oversees the training of each individual as well as the fecundity of the past that secretly nourishes it.
