Les Mules : passagers de la mortMules: Passengers of Death
They call them drug mules: risking their lives, they transport dozens of small packages of cocaine. In 2004, at Roissy Airport, customs officials intercepted 150 mules, and the number increases every year. Men and women of all ages, these death-dodgers often come from Latin America and agree to carry drugs to support their families, pay debts or glimpse something of a better life. But there are also Europeans among these minor dealers. This film follows the course of one such mule: Dominique, a 46-year-old French mother of three, was arrested in Colombia in 2002, carrying 2.750 lbs. of cocaine in a hundred capsules.
