Characters emerge from the films of Eric Rohmer to reveal their reasons for living, their destinies, their life stories, to explain the motives behind their actions as they relate to the hazard of seduction and love, morality and the tribulations of existence. Their voices and their faces are those of 16 famous Rohmerian actors, among them: Françoise Fabian, Jean-Louis Trintignant, Jean-Claude Brialy, Pascal Greggory, André Dusollier, Melvil Poupaud, etc. The director, Marie Binet, who started her career working with Eric Rohmer, casts a light on a unique creative process.
