KitüntetettenBeing Decorated
In 1978, a socialist women brigade receives the uppermost state distinction called Kossuth Award. Through the destiny of these decorated women, once workers in the clothes-factory of Zalaegerszeg, the film brings closer to the contemporary viewer the inner life of common people during the Janos Kadar era. These women toiled till late night and lived in workers' hostel for years but still believe that by building socialism they served a good cause. Among the reminiscences though, the system's evil nature shines through: while some toil sacrificing their health and family, others take advantage of the system, building a prosperous existence. This world has disappeared by now but these women still exist.
