In August 1942, a 26 year-old man dies mysteriously in a mental hospital near Milan. His name is Benito Albino Bernardi. News of his death is immediately sent to Benito Mussolini. His mother, Isa Dalser, also dies in an asylum after eleven years of confinement closely monitored by the fascist regime. This is the dramatic and never before told story of Benito Albino, secret son of Benito Mussolini and Ida Dalser, born in 1915. A true story that has the ingredients of a tragic novel: an innocent child, a betrayed and abandoned mother, and the mysterious deaths of mother and son at the hands of a very powerful father.
