A successful young publicist goes through an existential crisis and decides to vacation in Morocco. Strange things happen to him in the desert and the old Casbah where he is staying. Local legends speak of the “Horla,” a spirit that inspires fear in all who cross its path. The young man begins to feel threatened by the Horla. He has the impression that it slips into his room every night to drink his water and then exert pressure on his chest as if it wanted to steal his breath.
