Histoire de famille

A family saga set against social and political upheavals in Quebec in the 60s and 70s, Histoire de famille shuttles between past and present, fiction and reality. Through the eyes of a young woman in 2005, we discover the history of the Gagné family, which undergoes a radical change when Robert and May Gagné decide to sell their farm in Quebec’s Eastern Townships to move to Montreal. The film is composed of personal destinies like so many photo albums and reflects a historic period that continues to evolve to the present day.
