Extraterreni is the first programme to break television’s final taboo: the TV cameras respectively enter some historical European cemeteries with some very special guides. In this episode, made up of the first and second parts, Giorgio Albertazzi guides us through the Père-Lachaise cemetery in Paris, where we find the tombs of the legendary lovers Abelard and Eloise; the lead singer of the Doors, Jim Morrison; writers Marcel Proust, Oscar Wilde and Honoré de Balzac; artists Gustave Doré, Dominique Ingres and Eugène Delacroix; the actress Sarah Bernhardt; and the painter and sculptor Amedeo Modigliani.
