The fear of being labeled a member of the “axis of evil” has spurred Yemen to engage in a dialogue with its Islamists. So Judge Hamoud al Hitar meets with detained Muslim militants. Through dialogue, he manages to lead some of them back to the path of peace. This documentary records the exchanges between the judge and former mudjahidin Rashad Mohammed Said, today in prison because of his links with Al Queda. Together they deal with themes as diverse as Jihad and the right to target non-Muslims. We thus see how the oral tradition of a country can, without recourse to force or brutal methods, have positive repercussions in this sensitive region and in the rest of the world.
