A dramatic, crucial (and funny) week in the life of Lillian Almakayes, owner of a beauty salon in a small town in the South of Israel. Lillian has to cope with the deteriorating mental health of her mother who lives with her and the neighbors she is disturbing at all hours, with the marital crisis of her daughter and with an unexpected courtship threatening her glorious solitude. Lillian, a stubborn woman, deals with the troubles even when a strong opponent faces her—reality knocking on her door. She numbly finds a way to cope with her situation and is surprised when she also discovers happiness where she least expects it.
