Agent Orange
"I lost my husband in 2003 when he was 54. The cause of death was diagnosed as liver cancer, probably a consequence of his exposure to the defoliant agent orange while he served in the American army in Vietnam. To deal with my sadness, I began a quest to find out about agent orange, eventually visiting Vietnam. I found the consequences of the intensive spraying of this toxic chemical everywhere. Children who were not even born then are suffering from all kinds of deformities and illnesses. This documentary is aimed at piercing the collective amnesia that permits this festering tragedy."
