200 jours pour refaire le monde
Two summit conferences underpin the end of World War II: Yalta, Feb. 4-11, 1945, and Potsdam, August 2-17, 1945. Following events from day to day, this two-part documentary describes the role played in these crucial hours by the four men who would redraw the map of the world: Stalin, Churchill, Roosevelt and Truman. Making use of archival footage as if it were film dailies, the filmmaker resituates the images in their true context and shows us the emergence of a divided post-war Europe in a new light.
