War on Terror - The Yemen Option

This documentary examines the secret collaboration between the governments of the US and Yemen to stop the spread of Islamic terrorism in that country. Yemen’s government has found a middle path between Washington’s demands to seek out Al Qaeda and many Yemenis who are sympathetic to its ideals. Yemen's strategic location at the crossroads of the Middle East has made it a haven for Islamic terrorists. We meet several people who describe the situation in a country whose name crops up often when it’s a matter of Islamic terrorism: former members of Al Qaeda, as well as members of the government who recommend the release of Islamists who renounce the movement.
