Un homme d'affaires russe assassiné
In the 90s, Eugene P., was one of those new Russian businessman when he settled in Louveciennes, near Paris. Officially, he worked in timber export for the Russian State. Making his fortune, he sought to branch out into oil. On February 27, 1995, he was murdered along with his wife, parents and another Russian couple. Six systematic deaths and two survivors... his three year-old daughter, Nathalie, and Alexi, the 16-year-old son who accused himself of the six murders. The law quickly realized that Alexi was incapable of committing these crimes, but investigating the business dealings of Eugne P. in Russia proved to be impossible. It gave up, declared Alexi guilty and sentenced him to eight years in prison. This film relates the inescapable story of a Russian businessman at the time when Russian capitalism had no rules. He played for big stakes, won a lot but finally lost everything.
