Santa LiberdadeSaint Liberty
In 1961, the transatlantic luxury liner Santa Maria, sailing from Venezuela to Galicia, was hijacked by a commando of the DRIL – the Iberian Revolutionary Liberation Front – to draw attention to the dictatorships of Franco and Salazar.
