Llaguno Bridge

On April 11, 2002, a failed putsch took place in Venezuela. An oligarchy disturbed by the policies of a democratically elected president tried to overthrow the government. The putschists were openly backed by the United States without unduly disturbing the major powers or public opinion, and this despite the many clashes. In Caracas, unknown gunmen opened fire on the crowd from the top of Llaguno Bridge, killing 19. Today, apart from these victims and the many others wounded, it is the truth that being confounded. This documentary includes interviews with witnesses as well as harsh images about what really happened that day. The truth about a massacre that many Venezuelan media passed over in silence and continue to ignore.
