Katharina Benedek pays a surprising visit to her husband Richard in Prague. He has been working there as a leading official at the EU office – at least that's what she thinks. Richard suddenly vanishes without a trace. The Russian mafia is after him. He had helped them to smuggle stolen holograms for Euro bills across the border by using his diplomatic passport, but then decided to conclude the deal without them. Desperately, Katharina tries to find her husband. She cannot trust anyone. The Russian mafia killers are executing every one of Richard’s accomplices to seek revenge. Although her husband has deceived her, Katharina saves his life with the aid of the laconic superintendent Pokorny. Katharina is determined to wait for Richard – after all she is expecting his child.
