Following the death of her mother, Nada takes her 10-year-old son Omar and returns to Haret Hreik, in the southern suburbs of Beirut, where she grew up. Omar quickly creates his own private world on the roof of the house. Here, he hides an old abandoned bicycle that he found in a cemetery thanks to his friend Hicham, and repairs it. Nada sees to cleaning up the house in order to return it to its owner. She takes stock of the changes that have taken place between the world of yesterday and today.
