Second feature film produced by the Universidad del Cine, Mala época brings together four stories directed by students during their academic curriculum. Four stories, like snaps simultaneously shot in a big city: the man come up from the country to conquer the town; the teenager always relying on someone else, included for love; the construction worker disturbed by a revealing encounter; the man caught up in a political scandal in spite of himself. Everything at the same time, the same day, because that's the way life is. Todays Buenos Aires, time of fight and frustration. An unfamiliar and unaccessible world at the end of a century. Bad times?
