Made for the 75th anniversary of the birth of the great Bulgarian bass Nikolay Ghiaurov, who died last year, the film celebrates his life and work. His widow, the famous soprano, Mirella Freni, took part in the film along with his son, Maestro Vladimir Ghiaurov and Gena Dimitrova, another great name in opera.
