Le Quatuor Capuçon au Frioul
Made for television, this music documentary films music “otherwise” and “elsewhere” than in concert halls. By choosing both established and debuting art artists, and the island of Frioul as setting, we sought to overcome the restrictions of a traditional filmed recording in order to produce a truly televisual program. So we imagined a filmed concert that gives the camera a certain freedom but which includes a public performance, essential for the artists. Renaud Capuçon and his brother, cellist Gautier Capuçon, are already confirmed young musicians, typical of a generation that grew up with television and video, a condition for sharing their music.
