Le Bonheur d'Alexandre
Alexandre Jollien was born in Switzerland in 1975 with a cerebral motor handicap. Today a writer and philosopher, he has published two books "Éloge de la faiblesse" (1999) and "Le Métier d'homme" (2002). For more than a year-and-a-half, Joël Calmettes met with him. As it reveals a personality and an exceptional life, the film echoes one of Jollien’s reflections: I think that one of the opportunities in my life was to have felt weak and to have worked towards more progress. The result is the high-spirited portrait of an unusual man whose words and attitudes have a lot to teach us.
